Protect skin daily with sunscreen, hydrate well, eat antioxidants, avoid smoking, manage stress, sleep enough, and use gentle skincare to slow wrinkle formation naturally long-term. Anti-wrinkle injections such as Botox is usually administered to treat lines and wrinkles on the upper face. The three areas commonly targeted are forehead lines, frown lines and crow's feet
Forehead lines are horizontal creases that form across the forehead. They develop mainly from repeated facial expressions (like raising your eyebrows), ageing, sun damage, and loss of skin elasticity. Anti wrinkle injections (e.g. Botox) relaxes the muscles that cause these expressions. By reducing muscle movement, it softens existing lines and prevents them from becoming deeper, while keeping the skin smoother and more refreshed.
Frown lines (also called glabellar lines or “11 lines”) are the vertical creases that form between the eyebrows. They develop from repeated frowning, squinting, stress, and natural ageing. Botox relaxes the underlying muscles that pull the brows together. This softens existing lines, prevents them from deepening, and creates a more relaxed, refreshed appearance while preserving natural expression.
Crow’s feet are the fine lines that form at the outer corners of the eyes, often appearing when smiling or squinting. They develop due to repeated facial movements, ageing, and sun exposure. silky, soft hair that lasts for months. Botox gently relaxes the muscles around the eyes, softening existing lines and helping prevent deeper wrinkles, while maintaining a natural, refreshed look.
A brow lift is a specific technique where Botox is strategically placed to relax downward-pulling muscles, allowing the brows to lift slightly. This can make you look more refreshed, to open eyes and to achieve a natural rejunevation without surgery
Peri-oral lines are fine vertical lines that form around the mouth, often called smoker’s lines or lip lines. They develop due to repeated lip movements, ageing, sun damage, smoking, and loss of collagen. Botox relaxes the muscles around the mouth, reducing repetitive movement that causes these lines. This softens their appearance and helps prevent them from deepening, while preserving natural lip function.
A lip flip is a non-surgical cosmetic treatment that uses Botox to subtly enhance the appearance of the upper lip. Small amounts of Botox are injected into the muscle around the upper lip (orbicularis oris). This relaxes the muscle so the lip gently rolls outward, making it look slightly fuller and more defined—without adding volume
A gummy smile is when an excessive amount of gum tissue shows above the upper teeth when smiling. It can be due to an overactive upper lip, short upper lip, or the position of the teeth and gums. Botox relaxes the muscles that lift the upper lip too high when you smile. This allows the lip to sit lower, reducing gum exposure and creating a more balanced, natural-looking smile.
Drooping mouth corners occur when the corners of the mouth turn downward, giving a sad or tired appearance. This can be caused by ageing, gravity, muscle imbalance, and repeated facial expressions. Botox relaxes the muscles that pull the mouth corners downward (the depressor anguli oris). This allows the opposing lifting muscles to work more effectively, subtly elevating the corners of the mouth for a softer, happier-looking expression.
This reduces the appearance of a square or wide jawline, often caused by enlarged masseter muscles (chewing muscles). Botox is injected into the masseter muscles to relax them. Over time, this reduces muscle bulk, slimming the lower face and creating a softer jawline.
Fine lines that appear on the sides of the nose, usually when scrunching or smiling. Botox relaxes the muscles responsible for these movements (nasalis muscles), softening the lines and preventing them from becoming more prominent.
Non-surgical neck lift is a cosmetic treatment to improve sagging, wrinkles, or banding in the neck without surgery. Botox is injected into neck muscles (like the platysma) to relax them. This smooths vertical neck bands, softens wrinkles, and can subtly lift and tighten the neck for a more youthful appearance.
