The procedure begins with an initial Consultation & skin assessment followed by Cleansing of the skin. A topical numbing cream is then applied for 20-30 minutes. Microneedling device passed over the skin, creating tiny micro-channels. The whole procedure will take around 1 hour.
Results vary with each individuals but are usually seen are three sessions (spaced 4-8 weeks apart)
Microneedling side effects are generally mild and temporary. Common ones include:
First 24 hours:
Avoid touching, rubbing, or massaging the treated area
Do not apply makeup to treated areas
Avoid exercise, saunas, steam rooms, swimming, and hot baths
Avoid alcohol
Keep the skin clean and dry
First 48 hours:
Avoid active skincare products such as retinol, acids, and vitamin C
Avoid facials or other aesthetic treatments
Use a gentle cleanser and moisturiser
Apply SPF 30–50 if exposed to daylight
First 7 days:
Avoid excessive sun exposure and sunbeds
Avoid laser treatments, chemical peels, or microneedling
Maintain good hydration
Avoid dermal filler for at least 2 weeks
Avoid scrubbing/ abrasion for 4 weeks.
Avoid deep peel/ laser for 8 weeks
